A misrouted air shipment recovered in Amsterdam and delivered to Budapest.
A French forwarding agent asked Skye Logistics to recover a shipment that had been routed by the airline to Amsterdam instead of Budapest. We took control locally, managed the carrier storage and handling, transferred the cargo through our airfreight handling facility and arranged groupage delivery to the intended destination in Hungary.

Once the shipment arrived at the wrong airport, storage exposure and delay increased quickly. The cargo needed a local party that could coordinate the airline, take over the handling process and build a practical recovery route to Budapest.
