CASE STUDY · NETHERLANDS TO UNITED KINGDOM
Specialist postal transport supported by the correct CN37 flow.
Skye Logistics supported postal consignments moving from the Netherlands to a United Kingdom postal operator. The movement required postal-sector documentation and handover discipline rather than a standard commercial freight document flow.

THE CHALLENGE
What the operation required.
International mail is handled within a specialist postal framework. The carrier, dispatching office and receiving office need an auditable consignment handover, while the documentation must reflect the postal movement correctly.
THE SKYE APPROACH
How we built the movement.
- 01
Confirm the postal transport requirements before collection
- 02
Coordinate the surface-mail movement from the Netherlands to the United Kingdom
- 03
Ensure the CN37 delivery-bill flow accompanies the consignment as required
- 04
Keep the operational handovers and receipt chain clear
THE OPERATIONAL OUTCOME
A clear process that can be executed.
Correct postal documentation aligned before departure
Clear carrier and operator handovers
A controlled Netherlands–United Kingdom surface-mail movement
Specialist postal requirements translated into a workable transport plan
TECHNICAL NOTE
Document terminology matters.
CN37 is the Universal Postal Union delivery bill for surface-mail consignments. It supports operational control and proof of carriage between the parties in the postal transport chain. It is not a blanket exemption from customs requirements; any applicable postal customs obligations remain shipment-specific. See the UPU Postal Transport Guide.
